Wedding Bells

We met with the wedding coordinator last week from the restaurant we're getting married at. We're going to have the ceremony and reception there and just hire a JP or something to marry us. Makes it simple.

The meeting went well. We went over pricing and stuff. When she sent us the prices via email we weren't that pleased. It was about $1500 more than we thought it would be. I called her up to straighten it out. Turns out she'd added some extra appetizers for us to look at and also had estimated the guest list at 120, which is will not be. It might be if I weren't disfellowshipped, but just about all my friends from before were JWs so none of them will be there.

John's family is quite large and they're all going since he's the first grandchild and all that. We're inviting my family too, which I hadn't planned on. I didn't think they'd want to go. But all the aunts said they'd like to be there so we're going to invite my aunts, uncles, and first cousins. :)

We actually made it to the meeting that Thursday straight from our appointment. I was awfully proud of us. This past Sunday and Tuesday I was sick so that sucked.

Our wedding is a little over 7 months from now and it seems like forever away. Maybe they'll reinstate me early for good behavior. Yea, right. Image hosting by TinyPic

Put Custom Stamps on your Wedding & Engagement Announcements

I thought you might benefit from this. If I am out of line, please forgive me.

Here is a wedding idea to consider: custom stamps for your announcements and other wedding mailings. Instead of using ordinary stamps from the Post Office on those special mailings, you can use stamps that were not only designed for your purpose but customizable with your words and dates as well. There is a special feature to add anything you like to the stamp itself. Since its launch, these stamps have been very popular for invitations. Yes, these are official US postage stamps!

You can find my growing Zazzle.com gallery of designs at http://tinyurl.com/7w5qy. The URL I condensed to make it easier to work with.

Presently I have more than 100+ different stamp designs and more than half can be easily customized. You are welcome to read my customizing ideas on my homepage.

All the best.
