Building Kingom Halls
We have the Circuit Overseer this week. We had a sub on Tuesday because Brother White was having surgery. Brother Giddy was really cool. I'm sad he's not here the whole week. But Brother White was nice enough last night. We did the book study in 45 minutes and then he got up to give his part.
He gave some history of kingdom halls, how they weren't called that until 1935 and that they were so named because "the kingdom" would always be at the forfront of our minds.
Then we got to watch a video about building Halls where the need is greater. It was so cool to see brothers and sisters in places like Zambia and Ecquador building halls where there used to be huts. John went with me because we went there straight from an appointment and I think he liked it too. It was pretty nifty.
I'm looking forward to Sunday's meeting.
